Arbeitskreis Ökologischer Landbau
We are a group of students and other interested people, which talks about aspects of organic farming and discuss' new ideas to implement good practices. During the semester we meet once a week to coordinate our activities and to talk about new things.
FRESH
FRESH aims to stimulate a dialogue on the future of food amongst the University community.
The food we eat, how we eat it and where we source it from does have an impact on the landscape, livelihoods and culture in another part of the world.
OBSTKORB is a group of student of the university of Hohenheim. Their main interest is the preservation of meadow orchards. Knowledge about this is transmitted theoretically by talks and practically by events around the univesity and excursions within Germany and Europe.
Greening the university
Greening the university ist eine Gruppe junger, engagierter Studierender der Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, die sich zum Ziel gesetzt hat, das gleichermaßen überlebenswichtige wie auch inflationär gebrauchte Wortpaar der Nachhaltigen Entwicklung mit Leben zu füllen. Statt nur über ihren Büchern zu sitzen und den Gang der Dinge zu bedauern wollen sie aktiv das Morgen gestalten, längst überfällige Veränderungen herbeiführen und ein kleines bisschen die Welt verbessern. Und was liegt näher, als damit dort anzufangen, wo sie gerade arbeiten: an der Universität Tübingen.
Sie setzen sich dafür ein
- an der Universität Tübingen das Leitbild der nachhaltigen Entwicklung in der Lehre, der Forschung und der Verwaltung zu verankern. Dies beinhaltet, dass
- die Universität ihren ökologischen Fußabdruck auf ein umweltverträgliches Maß reduziert.

Greening HfT
Greening HfT ist eine Gruppe engagierter Studierende aus unterschiedlichen Fachrichtungen. Wir diskutieren über lokale und globale Themen. Durch Aktionen und Veranstaltungen wollen wir Mitstudierende zum Nachdenken und aktiv werden anregen.

Greening Stuttgart
Greening Stuttgart ist eine Hochschulgruppe, welche sich für gesellschaftliche und politische Umwelthemen an der Universität Stuttgart und in/um Stuttgart einsetzt. Wir verstehen uns als eine Ideenwerkstatt und Plattform zum Nachdenken, Engagieren und Projektieren. Neben der Ausarbeitung und Durchführung der uns am Herzen liegenden Projekte wollen wir vor allem durch Austausch und Vernetzung einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Umweltverbesserung leisten. Wir heißen jeden Willkommen, der sich uns anschließen möchte, um mit seinem Engagement seine Umwelt sinnvoll zu verändern. Unser Motto: Gemeinsam. Grün. Gestalten.
netzwerk n
We were founded in December 2010 in Berlin and are a registered non-profit association since 2012. We show ways in which students, Phd students and young professionals can contribute to the conception of a higher education level in sustainable development. In addition to local student initiatives, established national and international networks are represented in the netzwerk n. On the one hand, the network represents a networking platform in order to facilitate knowledge, experience and competence exchange. On the other hand, it has an active impact on science politics and is in communication with the BMBF, the German UNESCO Commission and the German Council for Sustainable Development.

WWOOF
‘WWOOF is a worldwide movement linking volunteers with organic farmers and growers to promote cultural and educational experiences based on trust and non monetary exchanges, thereby helping to build a sustainable global community. In order to find out how to grow your own food, what it means to make a living as a small scale farmer or to try self-sufficiency as a lifestyle, WWOOFers give a hand to farmers and growers on organic farms and smallholdings, where they are integrated in the family/ community life. ’ WWOOF-Germany holds a list of hosts in Germany (in printed and online versions).
