Kick-off Sustainability Week Hohenheim 2022 on 28.02 at 16.00 -18.00 [28.02.22]
From 23 - 29 May, we will show for the fourth time what is possible in the field of sustainability with the Sustainability Week Hohenheim.
As the Sustainability Working Group, we cordially invite you to get involved as individuals, groups or research groups to make this vision possible and to contribute your perspectives. After two years, we are finally planning again with lots of great actions on campus. This is the opportunity to live our values, learn new things and make demands, and in doing so, get the whole university involved! We need you for that!
Retrospect
In 2019, we organised the first Hohenheim Sustainability Weeks with 43 events, the TMS became a sustainability hub, people and groups were networked and exciting perspectives found a place in Hohenheim (small review on Insta). In the last two years, a lot of things happened together with many universities in BaWü: hochschule-n-bw.de In the digital space, we kept up with the topic.
Future
The Sustainability Weeks will again be organised mainly by students for students, staff and interested parties. This year we will focus on events in Hohenheim and local networking. We want to make student groups, associations, start-ups and other fields of activity visible and strengthen them, bring new perspectives to Hohenheim and demand more sustainability.
However, we will still remain part of the Sustainability Weeks @ Universities BaWü and thus networked statewide. We will be in exchange with other groups in the planning and implement some cross-university actions and events. This is a great opportunity to get to know people beyond our own university and to be inspired.
Get active
Become an event organiser and organise the event(s) you've always wanted to do. There are no limits to your creativity: whether it's workshops, excursions, exhibitions or conversations with inspiring people, from joint campus cleaning, cooking and celebrations to meditation and art events.
Get involved in the core team and gain experience in project management, social media, programme coordination, budget planning... We divide the tasks according to your interests. You will meet motivated people from all faculties.
Become a floater and support us selectively, for example with advertising, cooking for team events or with your photography skills. Do you have other talents that you would like to contribute? Let us know!
Become a donor and use your money for change. By doing so, you enable us to be fully creative beyond the logic of funding.
